We are a team of highly specialised professionals in the disciplines we offer. Every member of Nexthill Coaching began their career with a degree in Sports Science, before furthering their expertise with master’s degrees, doctorates and targeted specialisations.
We never stop: we believe that knowledge is constantly evolving, which is why we regularly participate in refresher courses and continuing education programmes, so that we can guarantee our athletes support that is always in line with the latest scientific evidence.

Nicola is the creator and founder of Nexthill Coaching. Con un dottorato di ricerca in fisiologia e biomeccanica dell’esercizio fisico, ha maturato una grande esperienza nell’ambito del trail running.
Author of over 30 scientific publications, after more than ten years dedicated to academic research, he chose to put his expertise at the service of athletes, guiding them to achieve their best performance.
Simone is a PhD in Sports Science, with a research project focused on performance and biomechanics in endurance sports (with a particular focus on trail running). He works between the laboratory and the field, with the aim of translating scientific evidence and performance data into practical training guidelines.
For over 5 years, he has been training and supporting endurance athletes and enthusiasts (running and cycling), with an approach based on programming, load monitoring and individual adaptations.
Jacopo is passionate about free climbing, a discipline he practises in all its forms: from bouldering to long routes, on rock and artificial walls. His curiosity and desire to explore every aspect of training led him to graduate in Sports Science and continue with a PhD.
He is a Level 1 Boulder FASI tracker and continues to train to become an instructor, combining scientific expertise and direct experience in the field to convey his passion to the athletes he coaches.
Beatrice is a PhD in Exercise Physiology and Biomechanics, with a focus on cycling and the use of e-bikes as a training tool. Her work combines research and practical application to optimize performance through an evidence-based approach.
She has conducted in-depth research on female performance across the different phases of the menstrual cycle, specializing in training and performance management in female athletes.
A passionate outdoor and mountain sports enthusiast, she is a cross-country ski instructor and a Mountain Leader.
